As the quiet summer period ends and we head into our busiest time of the year we're looking to bolster our incredible Kitchen team with some full time positions. We have also recently promoted our Assistant Kitchen Manager to Manager and are now looking for someone to fill the Assistant role. All positions are full time and permanent and we would prefer applicants with pervious food prep experience in a busy Deli/Bar/Restaurant/Cafe. 
These roles will be based in our original bar on New Station Street, right by the train station in Leeds City Centre. 
FRIENDS OF HAM LEEDS RECRUITING FOR FULL TIME ROLES IN THE KITCHEN
1. Assistant Kitchen Manager/ Kitchen Supervisor
This role will work alongside the Kitchen Manager to maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen; assist in managing the rest of the kitchen team; ensure all customer meals are prepared to a high standard; and maintain food safety and hygiene regulations. You will also taking deliveries; manage stock levels and stock rotation and maintaining accurate records. You will set up the kitchen; prep for service; and full closedown at the end of the day.
You must have at least 6 months experience in a busy kitchen or deli previously, with experience of being part of the management team. You most definitely need to have a love for quality food and drink and care about provenance of products. You must be enthusiastic, hard working and have a willingness to learn. You will need to be confident, methodical and organised with the ability to work quickly in a fast paced environment. Ideally the successful candidate will have food hygiene training already. 
This is a full time position on a salary of £21,000 - £23,000 dependent on experience. 

2. Kitchen Staff
We also need full time staff for the Kitchen to report into the Assistant Kitchen Manager and the Manager. We again are looking for someone who has at least 6 months experience preparing food in a busy restaurant/cafe/bar/deli environment. You need to have a love for quality food and drink and an understanding of provenance. You must be enthusiastic and a have willingness to learn.

All our food is prepared in an open kitchen meaning there is plenty of opportunity for customer interaction and while our cooking facilities are limited, we have established an excellent reputation for the quality of our food.
This is a permanent role with full time hours with an hourly salary dependent on previous experience.
